Students
Davis Moldaver LLP offers an exceptional articling experience. We believe in actively involving our articling students in every stage of the litigation process and giving them the best possible training and mentoring so that they can achieve their personal and professional goals.
What sets us apart is the size of our firm, and the work that we do. As a boutique litigation firm, our students are exposed to every facet of our practice and gain experience in a wide variety of litigation areas. We are very fortunate to be able to work on a wide-variety of high-stakes litigation matters. Our work takes us to every level of the Court, including the Supreme Court of Canada. Our students get involved in every area of our practice and can expect to gain experience in each of the following areas:
- Corporate Litigation
- Real Estate Litigation
- Oppression Remedies
- Professional Liability Claims
- Creditors’ Rights
- Insolvency Proceedings
- Commercial Fraud Proceedings
- Franchise Litigation
- Appellate Advocacy
As an articling student you can expect to do everything including drafting pleadings, opinion letters and settlement agreements; preparing and arguing motions; attending examinations, mediations and trials; and working with our clients.
Our articling students work closely with our lawyers every step of the way. We rely on our students for their enthusiasm, fresh perspective and hard work. Our goal is to deliver an invaluable articling experience that will allow a student to grow into a successful and leading lawyer.
