Brett Moldaver

Brett Moldaver is a founding partner of Davis Moldaver LLP. Prior to forming Davis Moldaver LLP with Milton Davis and Kelli Preston, he practiced at the Toronto office of a national law firm.

His practice encompasses a wide range of corporate and commercial litigation, including shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, real estate and construction litigation, and professional negligence.

Mr. Moldaver has significant court and arbitration experience. He has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal for Ontario. Brett sits on the executive of the Civil Litigation Section of the Ontario Bar Association. He has been a member of the executive since 2003 and served as the section’s Newsletter Editor in 2004.

Brett is active in Continuing Legal Education programs and has co-chaired and participated in several widely successful seminars for the Ontario Bar Association including:

  • Dialogue with the Bench and Bar (2003) (co-chair and speaker)
  • OBA Institute – Civil Litigation (2005) (assisted)
  • Six-Minute Commercial Leasing Lawyer (co-author of article)
  • Sharpening the Sword (2006) (co-chair)

Brett completed his undergraduate studies at McGill University (B.A. Hons.) and graduated magna cum laude from University of Ottawa (LLB).
