CPD: Safeguarding Real Estate Transactions

On November 22, 2011 Milton Davis and Linda Rothstein of Paliare Roland Rosenberg Rothstein LLP conducted a panel discussion at the Law Society of Upper Canada’s Continuing Professional Development session “Safeguarding Real Estate Transactions: Protecting Your Client from the Dangers of Litigation”. Mr. Davis and Ms. Rothstein’s panel discussion was entitled “What’s So Good About Good Faith? The Good Faith Doctrine in Real Estate Cases”.

The panel discussed the duty to negotiate in good faith, contractual conditions in real estate transactions, and the risks associated with bad faith negotiators on closing.
